In order to adapt the cooling performance and volume development of the PC to its own and changing requirements, this control allows direct access via six channels. The manufacturer Lamptron opted for a simple layout with a large LCD display.
This is housed on a massive, black aluminum bezel in the 5.25-inch format and provided for appropriate slots. According to the manufacturer, each of the six channels can be loaded with a maximum of 36 watts. Anyone can use it to control a pump, a flow sensor or a fan. The continuous adjustment with the digital controller offers a bandwidth of 0 to 12 volts.
Thanks to six freely placeable temperature sensors, the heat output can always be kept in view to select the optimum speed. The sensors are mounted on the tips of extra long cables. Since the 3-pin fan cables are generously dimensioned, even remote locations in big tower enclosures are achieved.
The controller is connected to the power supply via 4-pole molex and supplied via this. In addition to the high functionality, the CW611 controller from Lamptron also convinces with a cool look.
Further jumpers enable the changeover between the temperature units degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit as well as the (de) activation of the alarm function. This reports possibly critical temperatures. A power supply with a power of 550 watts is recommended.
